This month we will be looking at a secretive street artist who prefers to remain anonymous. We refer to him as Banksy, and his rebellious spirit is easily described as equal parts genius and and trouble maker.

We will be creating our own Banksy inspired art, and displaying it for our community. In order to participate in this craft, each student will need the following supplies:
- Red permanent marker, fine
- Green permanent marker, fine
- Black permanent marker, fine
- blank metal tag approx. 2×3″
- 2 clean aluminum cans cut into approx 4, 3.24″ flat circles (I will have extra on hand, please don’t go out and buy drinks just to get the cans)
- 50 assorted pony beads
- set of 12 colored pencils
- approx. 2 feet of string/cord
- Scissors (will be used to cut metal, so don’t bring your favorite pair)
- eye protection
- gloves
- wooden stylus
- glue in small container with a brush
For those of you with younger students, you don’t need to worry about sharp metal. I will have a non-metal project just for the smaller kids, designed to go along with the more intricate work of the older students.
See you Friday 12/20 at 6:30!
