This month we are focusing on the surrealist works of René Magritte. This Belgian painter combined everyday images, words, and symbols to enchant his audience. He was fascinated by the interaction between these three things, and played with them constantly. The resulting images were both witty and thought provoking, and they continue to increases in popularity to this day.
The project accompanying our study of Magritte is to create environmentally-friendly felted dryer balls. The resulting artwork will be taken home to either keep or give as a gift. (Click for more information about the benefits of using felt dryer-balls instead of dryer sheets)
